WASTE TO ENERGY FACTORY – MALTA (WtE)
PARTICIPATION IN THE TENDER DESIGN PROCESS FOR TERNA S.A. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WASTE TO ENERGY FACTORY IN MALTA
This factory aims to address a long-standing issue in Malta — waste management. As an island state, managing waste effectively is critical, and the construction of a Waste-to-Energy facility offers a modern, eco-friendly solution for handling non-recyclable waste by converting it into energy through incineration.
Our role in the project involved drafting of architectural tender drawings for the process buildings, as well as designing the complete administration and workshop facilities for the factory. This initiative marks a significant step toward sustainable waste management, leveraging advanced technology to reduce the environmental footprint while generating electricity from waste.
