SLINGSHOT RESIDENCE
RESIDENCE IN SYROS
Conceived as a tense tectonic plane emerging from the ground, the Slingshot is a summer residence on a steep seaside plot.
The project develops across two floors; the lower level features two separate, independent apartments, while the upper floor hosts three en-suite units and a spacious residence, which includes shared areas and a master bedroom.
Recognizing the significance of outdoor spaces in such coastal projects, the design addresses the challenging elements of strong Aegean sea winds and intense summer sun. It hosts an arrangement of continuous outdoor spaces, including an atrium for relaxed seating during windy days, a shaded area catering to sunny hours, and an elongated terrace that captivates the endless sea view.
